Kim has been in the medical field for over 35 years, twenty of those were spent as an RN in the emergency department and labor & delivery. Currently she works as an emergency room and urgent care nurse practitioner.
I feel that nurses in Alabama as well as across the nation need to make their voices heard, work together to make needed changes, and do their part to help the communities they live in.
When she is not working Kim enjoys spending time with her family which consists of one husband, four children, twelve grandchildren and three dogs. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she, and her family volunteers a great deal of time to various relief efforts organized by the church.
I live by the standard of, always do the right thing, even if no one is watching.
