Position Title: RN Surgery
Location: Huntsville Hospital Main & Women and Children’s Hospital, Huntsville, AL
Department: Operating Room
Shift: All Shifts
Required Degree: Graduate of state board School of Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure
Required Years of Experience: Must have successfully completed a Perioperative RN program or have prior experience as a circulating RN.
Other Required Qualifications: BCLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
RN Surgery positions available at Huntsville Hospital Main, Women & Children’s Hospital and Governor’s Medical Tower Surgery Unit.
The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment. The RN plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The RN evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
